This really should be my life motto. Sadly, I'm known on giving up on things if they don't go the way I want them to go... So this quote by William E. Hickson is really something I should do more often. I'll keep on trying to make this blog thingy really working - maybe this time it will be a success (I'm not planning on becoming famous, what I want is to establish a blog that will make people's life more interesting, make them happier...)

I wish I could be this great of a person that Faulkner was (I conclude this way because of this great quote. Honestly, I don't know much about him...). But no, I'm just plain old me, that refuses to play board games, because she hates to lose so much!

Anyhow, I missed this, I'll do my best to post more frequently this summer.

Quote of the Week and I Give you a Hint: It's gonna be LEGEN...wait for it...

I missed the How I Met Your Mother season finally a.k.a. How To Piss Off Every HIMYM Fan a.k.a How To Throw Away Ten Years Of Good Television. Technically, I did see the show on time, I'm just kind of late to blog about it. Instead I'm gonna post one of my favorite quotes in HIMYM history. And yes, of course it was Barney Stinson who said it! Because he's LEGEN.....wait for it and I hope you're not lactose intolerant, because the other half of the word is.....DAIRY.

This is my current favorite quote. Mostly because I'm still kind of bitter after realizing my Facebook page consists out of engagement photos, happy couple: I love you baby posts and Cosmopolitan's advises on how to get a boyfriend and get married. No wonder I love this two sentences!

And here we are again. Me telling you it's been another week. Which you probably already know, unless you're not capable of counting to seven and knowing that we have seven days in one week.
Anyhow, this week's quote is a bit dark, but in my defence it was Valentine's Day on Friday and I was (once again) all alone. Just kidding, I spent most of it with my friend. We had more fun than she did with her boyfriend. Once again, just kidding. But she did got a better present from me than him. There just one tini tiny thing. My present was for our Christmas tradition of buying each other stuff we don't really need, but feel like we should buy it anyway.

Another week has past, which means it's quote of the week time!
For this week I chose a quote from the author of seven of my favorite children books. They talk about kids who visit this enchanting world called Narnia where animals and trees can talk. Where you can meet dwarfs, giants and all kinds of different creatures. They are lead by a fierce leader, a lion named Aslan.
If you still don't know who I'm talking about (but probably you do, because three of the  books were made into three quite successful movies), I'm talking about C.S.Lewis.

Quote of the Week

Another week has come to an end and I'm bringing back my quote of the week series.

I read in Cosmo that guys usually don't like it when a girl has motivational quotes all over her place. If this is true, guys be ready to walk into a mausoleum of motivational quotes. I have notes with different quotes all over my place. And if you don't like it that way, too bad. Besides, I like my place the way it is (well a bigger place wouldn't go by unappreciated). And so it happens, I am quite proud of my quote collection.

This particular quote is from a movie called The Lovely Bones. I remember my big sister watched the movie and that it was a big hit when it came out. I think it captures what life's all about. Not about dwelling on the past, but thinking about the future. But it's also important to take a breath and stop for a while and enjoy the moment.

My New Years Whishes!

I decided this year will be the best ever! I will do things I was only planning to do previous years. I made a list of resolutions, with number one, with highest priority being: Do your New Year resolutions!
But mostly, this will be a fun year, full of laughter and joy. And in the spirit of my New Years Eve celebration with fancy chamapgane, I decided to add a quote of one of my favourite toestes ever. I forgot who the author is, but I will look it up and edited the post when I find out. All I know that the author is a woman (so selfexplanatory considered the fine humor that it's used. Just kidding. No offence to men).
So happy 2014 (yes I know it's January 8th but Serbians have new year today. I think? That counts as something, right?)

Quote of the week

In memory of Nelson Mandela. 

He was a great men who believed in human decency and (in my opinion) is a perfect example of how people should live. Not only to save our asses, but also to save everybody elses!

Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in  prison, only to be made stronger by the experience. He was black in a country known for apartheid (political system of racial segregation, in which black people-native to the area, were considered inferior in comparison to white people) and yet he become the president of the same country.

He was(is) a real life super hero. He believed in equality of all human races. In three words: He was (still is) awesome!

I hope this quote reminds you that breaking a nail isn't the worst thing ever and that there are people with real problems out in the world.
